Accessible yoga for all
My approach is to educate as well as guide and encourage. Through challenging the body within safe limits we can de-stress and soothe which then settles the mind. We then become more mindful and focused on the breath and improve our physical and mental health and well-being.

Having taught yoga for many years, I have developed my own unique style drawing on many influences and have studied in depth how/why yoga works which led me to teach more intelligent yoga designed to heal yet still be challenging as we want to feel satisfied.
Yoga should be unique to the individual. I therefore offer options to suit every body. Depending on your characteristics you may need a little bit of gentle encouragement to go a bit deeper or if you are naturally very competitive then an option where there is less doing is probably more beneficial.
I encourage you to be curious and experiential while you practice. We want to move how nature intended and let go of precision which in many cases is not helpful.

Beneficial if you are experiencing chronic pain including back pain, arthritis, or fibromyalgia. Helpful for those wanting relief from the symptoms of stress and anxiety or depression or for those recovery from illness or injury.
Every class includes mindfulness and restorative relaxation designed to soothe the nervous system.
Science is very much now confirming what the ancient yogis knew, yoga heals and yoga is an effective healthcare intervention. Through yoga, we find our stability and our grounding and from this sense of self-resilience and self-assurance, we can continue to strive and enjoy.
